Your stay in Karunya is made more convenient by availing an individual room for each team. It is required to confirm your accommodation on arrival into the campus. Upon arrival, you will need to confirm your accommodation in our Registration counter with the personal identification number which will be given to each team. This would make the process easier for everyone concerned. Also during the three day technical competitions, our buses will drop each participant in front of their allotted residence. *A confirmation will be emailed to you. It will notify the individual(s) concerned of a unique IDENTIFICATION NUMBER which would be very important for our identification of your personal details, once you enter our campus.
Participants, who are coming from outside Coimbatore, would need to pre-confirm their reservation dates and bus/ train/ flight arrival timings. All such information would be mandatory if you would like us to pick you up from the station, bus stand or airport. At the appropriate stations our coordinators and volunteers will be awaiting your arrival. To make your travel safe and comfortable we are arranging a fleet of special MindKraft buses from central bus stand [landmark: front of Hotel Tamilnadu, next to the central bus stand]. There our transport coordinators and volunteers will be present there to guide you. We have a separate counter to issue every participant a two way ticket with the boarding passes.. *Participants shall be picked up from the bus/train stations on prior intimation to the coordinators by phone or mail.
We will be at your service 24 hours a day during MindKraft'10. The above mentioned desk will be the control room, which will be manned by our student representatives. In case you need any help regarding your stay at Karunya, you can contact them. During MindKraft the Hospitality Desk, which forms an indispensable part of the event, is set up close to the residential block.
We will make arrangements to drop you back at the railway station/bus stand/ airport as and when required, depending upon prior notification to concerned coordinators. The arrangements will be made only at the end of the day or at the end of all the events.
Accomodation for Ladies and gents have been arranged in the hostels.
The fare for accomodation and food from 4th night is Rs 100 per head per day.
transport will be arranged form the city at 8:30 am to Karunya university and 7 :30 pm back to Coimbatore city.
