A water crisis is threatening several regions of the world, most notably the Middle East and North Africa. This theme of innovation approach for the water management towards 2010 discuss this crisis from a multidisciplinary perspective and focus specifically on the role of modern and traditional irrigation technologies in the response to this growing water crisis.
