Welcome to Our Department Updated on April 25th, 2009 by EIE- WEB TEAM The Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (EIE) was started in June 1995, offering B.E. (EIE) programme under the affiliation of Bharathiyar University. With excellent laboratory and research facility the programme was continuously affiliated by the Bharathiyar University and later by Anna University. Accreditation of NBA committee for the under graduate programme of the division was obtained in the year 2001. The Post Graduate Programme, M.Tech. (Control & Instrumentation) was started September 2003 under the affiliation of Anna University. M Tech (Embedded systems) was started in the year 2008 & M.Tech (Biomedical Instrumentation) was started in 2009. The Department also offers part time and full time Research programmes leading to Ph.D. The Mission of School of Electrical Sciences is to raise engineers and researchers with high quality technical expertise, professional attitudes and ethical values with the ability to apply acquired knowledge to have a productive career and empowered spiritually to serve humanity
