In the year 1981, God's servant received the divine commission to start a Technical University turning out of its portals engineers excelling both in academics and values. Having the right combination of academic excellence, personality development and spiritual values, and the person who received this vision was none other than late Dr. D.G.S. Dhinakaran.

The main idea of  this university is to bring out Daniels , Esthers and Josephs  of present era. And to support  this thought  we have a department called as DOVE (Department of Value Education)

                       Every day,the morning counseling begins at 9.00 am in different auditoriums,which acts as a source of encouragement   to all the students and staff to pursue their immediate goal with the help of the Almighty.

                       Prayer-cell  is a place  of fellowship where all  the students  gather in different  hostels to  spend some time in  prayer,    praise and worship from 6.30 to 7.00pm & from 7.00 to 7.30pm.The word of god is shared by some staff member. If time permits 1 or 2 testimonies are also shared.

                       Campus service can be called as a combined prayer cell for all the students and  staff residing in the campus. It takes place  every  Sunday  from 9.00 am to 11.00pm. Each Sunday there  are different  preachers who  bring the word of  god with  fire and anointing. It is a blessing to those who attend such meetings.

                       Department prayer takes place atleast once a week in every department. Students lead the prayer,praise and worship and some of the department staffs share the message. Such prayers build the department both academically and spiritually.

 

                       Students Retreat which was conceptualized recently was of great                                                                            boon  to the  University. Many came  to know  that  spirituality is not  only  about                                                                             mourning but  its  also about rejoicing in the  presence of God. Different types  of                                                                             tableau, skits,choreographies, presentations etc. are involved in this fest. This  is                                                                                 a time where students are free to worship and praise without any constraints.

 

 

                       Christmas Mega Event  takes place once a year but is  remembered  throughout the year. It consists of choir, singing different songs like Christmas carols, etc. A play is  also featured in this mega event. Scripting, directing & acting are  all done by the students.
