Mindkraft includes cultural events like face painting, group dance, Amazing Race , 60 seconds to fame, Dumb charades and Cut 2 Cut etc. Mindkraft is a student initiative taken to increase the technical knowledge of the students. It is an event for the students, by the students and of the students.
Christmas Celebration takes place both in the hostels and in college. Various competitions are held for conveying the message of Christmas to the students.There is a mega play which takes place in the college. Christmas Carol competition and Multimedia competition are held in college. A highly talented choir entertains the audience with their skillful singing and co-ordination. The mega play is followed by grand Christmas dinner for students and faculty of the university.

Evangeline Memorial Tournament
Evangeline Memorial Tournament is the time when students shrug off their daily routine and relax their minds and souls in this four day mega event. Students can participate in various sports events to come up with their sportive skills. There are stage performances by Karunya International School, Evangeline Matriculation School, and by Karunyans. The whole college is decorated and there are food courts around to hangout. There is lot of fun and excitement in and around the campus during this South India level inter-collegiate competition.
Christmas Celebration
Karunya celebrates the national festivals with full enthusiasm. There are special performances by different department students. The flag hoisting is done by the Vice Chancellor in the presence of all other dignitaries. Sweets are given to all the students and staffs to celebrate the occasion. Special marathon race is held in the college and various dance performances are exhibited.
Industrial Visits
Karunya provides you with the wonderful opportunity of going for industrial visits. The students are accompanied with faculties which ensure safety for the whole tour. Students get the exposure of real working environment and can prepare themselves for the future.
Department of Personality Development
Department of Personality Development (DPD) is a unique department of Karunya. It has many clubs under it. Students can choose any of the clubs and can join. Trekking club is mainly for adventurous people who like to explore the beauty of the nature. KALA improves the cultural skills of the students interested in debates, dumb charades etc. There are many other clubs that can hone the skills of the students and prepare them for the future.
Karunya is a place where there is immense possibility for one to relax and explore the aspects of life besides studies. There are events conducted every month in the various hostels. The events include: Drawing Competition, Essay Writing, Debates, Speeches, Skits,Dance Competition, Multimedia Competition etc. A movie is screened every weekend in the hostels to provide relaxation to the budding professionals. Students interested in music can take special classes in the evening to bring out their skills.Christmas celebration takes place with great splendour and delight.Various Competitions are held during this week for experiencing the true spirit of Christmas. We have events like Anti-substance Week, Tree Conservation Week etc.too
